First things first, to decide on your eventful precious gown - DECIDE which shape you like. For example, are you a fan of huge ballroom-type skirting? Then A-line or princess cut is probably best for you. These gowns are usually very elaborate and is very grand - fit for a princess! But for me, I prefer a more fitted design. If you have assets to show off, eg. ample cleavage ... consider empire cut. Although I quite fancy empire cut because it looks so pretty (!), but I am probably too skinny to pull this off ... so I chose the mermaid silhouette for a form-fitting look that works for me.
