ARRIVAL : NICE Cote D'Azur Airport

I landed at Terminal 2 of Nice's Cote D'Azur Airport, the terminal was small by international standards. And because I did not have any bags checked-in (yay!) I could whizz past all others are the baggage reclaim area and directly outside to the bus ticketing counter.

Whether or not you are staying in Nice or outside of Nice, you still have to get yourself out of the airport area first. To do this, you can either take Bus # 99 to Gare SNCF Nice Ville (Nice main train station) or you can take the Bus # 98 to Le Port (Nice Port). The Orange buses in Nice are operated by the bus company Lignes D'Azur. Basically you need to get yourself OUT of the Airport area, into the Nice city area (where you can catch your next train/ bus to your hotel). Or if you are with plenty $$$ to burn, just get the airport transfer to hotel.

A trip out of the airport by Bus #99 or 98 will cost you 6.00 Euros (doesnt' matter which stop). Ask the bus ticketing counter lady for a route map of the bus. Once you have bought the ticket, walk across to where the bus lanes are. Each bus lane is numbered indicating the final stop. Example Lane 2 - MONACO, Lane 3 - GARE SNCF (Nice Ville), Lane 4 - CANNES, and Lane 5 - CITY CENTRE (this is my Lane because I need to get to Nice Port).
